  At Walter Jackets, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Because all our products are made to order, please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By completing a purchase on walterjackets.com, you agree to the terms outlined below.

  1. Our 30-Day Return Window

  
  You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return. Requests made after 30 days of delivery will not be accepted.
  
  To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unworn, unwashed, and unaltered
  • In its original condition with all tags attached
  • Free from any odors, stains, or signs of use
  • Returned in its original or equivalent protective packaging

  2. What Qualifies for a Return

  
  Because our products are made to order, returns are accepted only in the following situations:

  • Defective or damaged item: The item arrived with a manufacturing defect or was damaged during Shipping.
  • Wrong item sent: You received a different product, color, or style than what you ordered.
  • Significantly different from description: The item materially differs from what was shown or described on the product page at the time of purchase.
  • Sizing issue: The item does not match the measurements of the size you selected, based on our published size guide. If you selected an incorrect size without referencing our size guide, the return may still be considered at our discretion, but return shipping will be at your expense.

  We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selected without reference to our size guide, or minor color variations caused by screen display differences, as these are disclosed in our Terms and Conditions.

  3. How to Request a Return

  
  To start a return, contact us within 30 days of delivery at info@walterjackets.com with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return
  • Clear photos of the item showing the issue (required for defective, damaged, or wrong item claims)

  We will review your request and respond within one business day. Do not ship the item back before receiving written approval from us. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted and will not be refunded.

  4. Return Shipping

  
  Return shipping costs are handled as follows:

  • Defective, damaged, or wrong item: We will cover the full cost of return shipping. Where available, a prepaid return label will be provided by email. If a prepaid label is not available for your location, we will provide return instructions and cover the approved return shipping cost through another reasonable method.
  • Sizing issue or any other approved return: Return shipping is at the customer’s expense. We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Walter Jackets is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

  All returns are processed by mail. We do not accept in-store returns as we do not operate a physical retail location. All items must be shipped back to the address provided in your return approval email. Do not ship to any other address.

  5. Refund Processing

  
  Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days of receiving the return.
  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method only. We do not offer store credit or alternative refund methods.
  • Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional 3 to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account after we have processed it. This is outside our control.

  If your return is rejected because the item does not meet the conditions in Section 1 or does not qualify under Section 2, we will notify you by email. The item will be shipped back to you at your expense.

  6. Direct Exchanges

  
  We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or item, please return the original item by following the process in Section 3. Once the return is approved, you may place a new order separately.

  7. Cancellations

  
  Order cancellations are governed by our Terms and Conditions. In summary:

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order are eligible for a full refund with no deductions.
  • Cancellations after 24 hours may be subject to a deduction of up to 40% of the order total to cover production costs already incurred, depending on the production status of your order.
  • Orders that have already been dispatched cannot be cancelled.

  To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at info@walterjackets.com with your order number.

  8. Non-Returnable Items

  
  The following are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items that have been worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery
  • Items returned without prior written approval from us
  • Items where the issue is minor color variation due to screen display differences

  9. Damaged or Lost Return Shipments

  
  If you are responsible for return shipping and the item is lost or damaged in transit, Walter Jackets will not be held liable, and a refund will not be issued. We strongly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service for all customer-paid returns.
